Pet Friendly Properties at Platinum Skies

It’s National Pet Month, promoting responsible pet ownership and its benefits. The UK is undoubtedly a nation of animal lovers, with 90% of pet owners saying their furry companion makes them feel happier, and over a quarter of us Brits owning a dog – the UK’s most popular pet.

Here at Platinum Skies, we welcome all pampered pooches and moggies at our pet friendly properties. We know that owning a pet makes us healthier, happier humans – 88% of owners feel having a pet improves their quality of life – so, of course, we wouldn’t ask you to leave your four-legged companion behind when you make the move to a Platinum Skies home.

Moving in with your Pets

Two of our first Monterey residents, John and Jan Marshall, downsized to our Christchurch development buying a two bedroom apartment with a private patio and direct access to the communal gardens, but there was one thing in particular the couple were looking out for.

Jan explains, “We bought our apartment off-plan and were the second people to move into Monterey so we got our first choice apartment, with a garden view. However, the most important part was finding a home for our rescue cat, Bernard! Not all developments accept pets and some don’t actually allow pets in the grounds. Bernard is quite the outdoorsy type so enjoys the lovely gardens here at Monterey.

The Platinum Skies team have been so helpful and nothing has been too much trouble throughout the buying process and since we’ve moved in. I’m looking forward to our first summer, sitting on our patio with Bernard overlooking the gardens, and enjoying a glass of wine.”
