FIND OUT MORE Meet our Community Managers A friendly and familiar face for your new day-to-day Community Director Laura Laura supports our on-site teams to deliver the range of activities and events that take place daily across our communities. She also works with local businesses, charities and community groups to establish ways Platinum Skies can ensure our development and homeowners are an asset to their wider local community. Laura says one of things she loves about her job is that there’s no typical day – “Who wouldn’t love a job that is all about enabling happiness! When you receive a ‘Thank you’ from a happy homeowner, it gives you that extra boost to your day. Across our communities, there are so many great examples of neighbours supporting each other, making new friends and discovering new talents in later life.” Community Manager Jenny Jenny is one of our Chapters Community Managers in Salisbury who enjoys making a difference to our homeowners’ lives. Her favourite events to organise are the community’s regular coffee mornings, which bring our homeowners together in their exclusive lounge and bistro. She also enjoys arranging parties for summer and Christmas, along with special occasions such as the launch of new residential buildings and other milestones at Chapters. Outside of work, she spends her time going on trips out in her VW campervan. Her favourite quote is ‘I am a cotton-headed ninny muggins’ from the film Elf. Community Manager Hayley Hayley is our Community Manager for Sherborne. She enjoys meeting our new homeowners and getting to know them to enable them to thrive in our retirement living village. She loves the fact that two days are never the same as her job is so varied. She enjoys organising parties for our homeowners, which have included a launch event for our Sherborne community, as well as themed supper clubs and live music performances. Outside of work, she takes an interest in holistic health practices, medicine, and healing. Her favourite quote is ‘Step out of your comfort zone and face your fears. Growth takes place when you are challenged, not when you are comfortable’. Community Manager Cassie Cassie is our Quantock House Community Manager in Taunton. She enjoys bringing the community together to enable them to form new friendships. Her favourite events involve organising afternoon tea, live music performances, parties and discos for our homeowners, which enable them to ‘eat, drink, dance and have a laugh.’ She also works like several companies in Taunton to offer their produce to our Quantock House community to ensure that we support local businesses. Outside of work, Cassie is a keen athlete who enjoys participating in charity fitness challenges. Her favourite quote is ‘Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re gonna get’ from the film Forrest Gump.
