Quantock House’s new homeowners get together to meet each other over afternoon tea

Scores of homeowners for our new Taunton independent-living community came together to meet each other while enjoying afternoon tea. This was the first opportunity for all new homeowners to get together ahead of moving into our new independent-living community, Quantock House.

This luxury apartment complex for people aged 55 and over is being constructed by Platinum Skies in Paul Street, which will comprise of one and two-bedroom apartments for people who would like to live amongst like-minded, sociable neighbours in Taunton town centre.

Homeowners enjoyed the event, hosted at The Castle Hotel, which enabled around 30 people who have purchased a new home in Quantock House to get together to meet their neighbours and form new friendships before they all move into their purpose-built apartments.

One homeowner commented during the afternoon tea: “This event has been uplifting. It has given me the boost I needed today. I am really excited about moving into our new apartment.”

Another homeowner commented: “We feel like we are already part of the community after coming to this event, rather than only starting the process when we move in.”

Apartments within Quantock House are available to purchase off-plan featuring a host of communal facilities including a bistro, bar area, homeowners’ lounges, activity room, and treatment room. Pets are welcome in all Platinum Skies communities, which also feature a visitor’s suite for family and friends to stay in.
