Our homeowners in Salisbury enjoyed a host of fun while singing and dancing together during a Sinatra-themed evening in their independent-living community.

Chapters, based off Wilton Road, welcomed Scott Free’s Swinging Sinatra live music show to the onsite bistro which entertained the homeowners for the night.

Scott performed all of the favourites including Fly Me to The Moon, You Make Me Feel So Young, My Way, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, and New York, New York. He also performed a host of tunes by Matt Monro, who was famously known as the British Sinatra, including My Kind of Girl and Born Free.

Chapters has two dedicated Community Managers who organise fun activities such as wine tasting workshops, live music, yoga, coffee mornings, quizzes, and crafts, as well as providing practical and emotional support to our homeowners, who are aged 55 and over.

Jenny Abbott, Community Manager for Chapters, said: “Our homeowners had such a lovely time singing and dancing to the music, and a few of them even took a turn on the microphone, much to everyone’s amusement. They all had a fabulous evening, and it was lovely to organise that for them all as part of our extensive activities calendar, which focuses on creating opportunities for the homeowners to get together and enjoy each other’s company.”
