Free care parcels for Platinum Skies homeowners It’s been a tough few weeks for everyone living with the lockdown measures, but we’re meeting the challenge head on. To make daily life easier we have safely delivered over 90 free care parcels to our wonderful homeowners, including those that are in self-isolation. The boxes contained a variety of essential food items such as fresh fruit and vegetables, milk and tinned goods. With a vibrant community of homeowners at every one of our retirement living locations, we’re supporting them as much as we possibly can through many new initiatives to boost health and wellbeing. At Platinum Skies, we’re here for our homeowners now and forever. The care parcels were warmly welcomed at our sites in Christchurch, Poole and Salisbury to those that requested them. On receiving her parcel, Platinum Skies homeowner Lyn Blanchard said, “Absolutely amazing thank you so much!” David Hines, Chief Operating Officer of Platinum Skies said: “We are beyond proud that we have been able to safely deliver 90 free parcels containing food essentials to all our homeowners who have requested them. We absolutely appreciate that it’s a challenging time for all of us living under lockdown measures. Anything that we can do to make life that bit easier or raise a smile is important to us. We’d like to say big thank you to our homeowners for everything they do to make our Platinum Skies community so happy, friendly and special!” Steve Whitwam, Sales & Marketing Director of Harvest Fine Foods said: “Harvest are delighted to be working with Platinum Skies to support their homeowners with essential food boxes. It is so nice to support a business who looks after their customers in this way and has great core values.” Our on-site Lifestyle Managers have also been doing a fantastic job with dedicated support for our homeowners in these difficult times. Whether it’s through special ‘socially-distanced’ music performances and pilates classes, there’s always a friendly face or event to raise a smile.
