Homeowners enjoy red carpet event to celebrate Salisbury community’s second birthday

We rolled out the red carpet for our homeowners in Salisbury who joined together for the second birthday party for our Chapters community.

Our homeowners, who live in the over-55s community based off Wilton Road in the city centre, dressed up in cocktail dresses and dinner jackets for the special party, which was held in the bistro. Live music entertained the evening’s guests which was provided by the five-piece band, Loose Change, who performed a host of hits which the homeowners danced and swayed along to.

Partygoers entered the event through a colourful balloon arch at the entrance to the bistro, where a photographer was on hand to take their photo as a memento of the day. They were also treated to a delicious spread in the form of a buffet created by our chefs, paired with glasses of bubbly and handmade cocktails from the event’s dedicated bespoke cocktail bar.

Supporting the growing community at Chapters

The event is just one of a host of activities that our homeowners have enjoyed over the summer, which have included barbecues, afternoon tea, coach trips to Weymouth, and cheese and wine afternoons. Each of our communities boasts a dedicated on-site Community Manager, with Tracy Eggs and Jenny Abbott overseeing Chapters to organise fun activities to bring our homeowners together, as well as providing practical and emotional support.

Tracy said: “Everyone had a fantastic time at the Chapters birthday party, which was a great opportunity for our homeowners to get together on the dance floor and enjoy themselves.

“Jenny and I organise a whole host of events, but this particularly party was proudly organised by our fantastic homeowner social committee. They wanted to put on a party to mark the summer months which would offer the chance for all of our homeowners to socialise and get to know one-another, as we have had many people move in over the past few months.”
