Vista Homeowners enjoy live music and a picnic to celebrate Parkstone community’s second birthday

Our homeowners had a fantastic time enjoying live music, fun games, and an indoor picnic to mark the second birthday of the Vista community.

Garden party for the Vista Community

The homeowners dressed up ready for a garden party and socialised in the communal lounge on the ground floor of the over-55s community in Mount Road. A range of garden games was set up in the activity room and the local singer, Rossano Sal, performed a host of hits for the gathered audience of homeowners and visiting family members who sang along and danced to the tunes.

Partygoers were also treated to an indoor picnic delicious spread along with Pimms and punch followed by an ice cream station complete with a choice of delicious toppings. There was a homemade two-tier cake to toast the anniversary with a glass of bubbles. The event is just one of a host of activities that the homeowners have enjoyed over the summer, which have included barbecues, afternoon tea, coffee mornings, wine tasting, and bridge and chess clubs.

Mel Litchfield, Community Manager at Vista, said: “We all had a fantastic time at the party to celebrate Vista’s birthday. After the government lifted the restrictions on gatherings, the homeowner social committee was keen to arrange a party to mark the summer months for our homeowners and enable them to have fun with their friends in the comfort of their own home. We’ve also had lots of people move into their new apartments over the past months, so it was a brilliant opportunity for them to get to know their neighbours over a glass of bubbly.”
