Taunton Museum is based within the grounds of Taunton Castle, so there is plenty of attractions to look round and explore when you visit. Open Tuesday – Sunday, there are always lots of events scheduled here including talks, workshops, and crafting to investigate before visiting.

Admission is FREE to the museum, which makes it an excellent value trip for all the family. And as it is charity run; they do suggest a few pounds donation per person so you can feel good whilst having fun.

Hollywood Bowl

A family favourite to visit on a rainy day is the ‘Hollywood Bowl’ in Taunton. With prices starting from £5.55pp, this is an affordable and fun activity for the whole family. At Hollywood b=Bowl, there is twenty-two lanes available, as well as a great arcade with games suitable for all ages.

And if f you need a sit down whilst the kids play, there is a café that serves both food & drinks, either to your lane or at the restaurant.
